Notes: The Palais épiscopal de Viviers is a palace located in Viviers, France. The bishop's plan is simple. This is a hotel between court and garden, a rectangular plan. It was originally decorated with a French garden which is no longer visible. The main gate is located to the west. It is preceded by an oval plan forecourt opening onto the courtyard, and surrounded by two pavilions housing rebates and the doorman housing. It was originally planned two wings that surrounded the courtyard. Only the left wing, called the "kitchen wing" was built. In the hotel, the entrance hall and living room Italianate which follows it, are the central bay of the building, in the center of the courtyard. These are two rooms that capture the visitor by their proportions and the quality of their design. One reaches the floor by a staircase in a room to the right of the hallway. The chapel of the bishop is on the first floor. The building is classified as historical monuments in 1989.
