Notes: The Maison forte de Loche is a stronghold of the fourteenth century, located in the municipality of Magland, in Haute-Savoie. It is located in the town, the chief town, opposite the town hall, rue Nationale. The family Loche resides in 1358 in a "domus fortis".
It was converted into a hostel in the twentieth century. It retains its medieval past its ceilings, openings and fireplaces.
The stronghold of Loche is the subject of a registration as a historic monument since August 17, 1994. It is presented in the form of a "tower house" measuring 15.50 x 12.50 meters. A north-south shear wall grafted onto the staircase divides the interior into two parts.
In a room on the ground floor, on the mantle of a fireplace is carved the family crest De Loche. The ceiling of the great hall of the first floor is a coffered ceiling dated 1439.
