Notes: Château de Versas is located in the municipality of Sanilhac in the Ardèche department. On the same commune lies tour de Brison, ancient fortress and castle ruins Brison, building from the seventeenth century destroyed by the Revolution. Castle Versas hotel below, halfway between Sanilhac and Vernon. Consisting of two wings on either side of an octagonal tower, a splendid Renaissance façade overlooking the valley. Its construction probably dates from the sixteenth century, major alterations have been made between 1594 and 1603 by Françoise Bernard Versas lady and her husband.
