Notes: Château de Fromente is an old fortress, founded during the Middle Ages, which stands in the municipality of Saint-Didier-au-Mont-d'Or in the Rhône department in the Rhône-Alpes region. Château de Fromente is located in the French department of Rhône in the municipality of Saint-Didier-au-Mont-d'Or, at an altitude of 320 meters. It dominates the east gully dug by the Fromente Creek and south the valley formed by the stream of Saint-André, near the Castle of Chantemerle.
