Notes: Château de Fallavier is an ancient castle, the thirteenth century, the center of the Lordship of Fallavier, whose remains stand in the town of Saint-Quentin-Fallavier in the Isère department in Auvergne region Rhône-Alpes. A moat, disappeared, and a first wall, in good condition, define an area of one hectare and a half. A second enclosure surrounds the buildings of the castle itself, placed against the north wall of the first enclosure. The circular keep 32 meters originally 25 meters high yet nowadays, is placed in the corner of the second chamber and isolated from the castle itself by a wall. A narrow staircase carved into the wall of the dungeon used to reach the top, where the view is evidently panoramic (viewpoint). Around the ruined buildings still impressive. We distinguish in particular the windows of the chapel north side.
