Notes: Forteresse de Mornas in the Vaucluse department, stands on a rocky outcrop on the left bank of the Rhône, overlooking the village of Mornas, established at its foot and the surrounding area. She had a major importance from ancient times to the French Revolution, from which it fell into ruin. It was rediscovered in the last third of the nineteenth century and has since 1978 been many renovations by Friends of Mornas, heritage conservation association. Its restoration was undertaken in 1977 under the leadership of the association "Friends of Mornas." Rehabilitation continues today, and many activities and recreations are offered during the summer months in particular. The remains of Mornas Castle were listed as historical monuments on May 20, 1927.
