Location: Courthézon, in the Vaucluse departement of France (Provence-Alpes-Cote-d-Azur Region).
Built: 1862-1872.
Condition: In good condition.

Notes: Château de Val-Seille is located in the municipality of Courthézon.The castle was built by Elie Dussaud (1821-1899), Ferdinand de Lesseps engineer in 1868 on plans by architect Louis Astric. It was enlarged in 1872 by Gustave Mouriès. In the "Gallery of Paintings", current council chamber, the painter Alfred Casile represented the great works of Elie Dussaud. Today, the castle is used by the town hall, after its acquisition by the town in 1952. In its park and gardens, he received in 2001 the price of heritage development in the regional competition cities and flowered villages. The castle and its garden, is a listed building since 1994.
