Notes: Château de la Guyonnière is Beaulieu-sous-Parthenay in Deux-Sèvres.The castle dates from the fourteenth century Guyonnière. Despite alterations in the fifteenth century and the sixteenth century it retains a marked feudal pace. It forms a quadrangle flanked by towers, one houses a dovecote. One enters through a fortified gate. The gardens, which are accessed by a small drawbridge forming poterne are surrounded by deep moats and consist of nine squares of medieval inspiration, where flowers rub shoulders, vegetables, mélifères plants, medicinal, aromatic, fruit, old roses, shrubs and fruit trees.
