Notes: Château de Fresneaux-Montchevreuil is located in the municipality of Fresneaux-Montchevreuil in the department of Oise.The monument is the subject of a registration as a historic monument since February 21, 1983. It was built on the foundations of an older castle probably dating from the 12th century on the hillside of Montchevreuil by Guillaume de Mornay or Mornay his son Peter, who received as a donation in 1539 of Jean Chenu, Earth Montchevreuil. In the 17th century, wings were added to the castle and built stables. The interior was remodeled in the 19th century by Jules de Mornay, Marquis of Montchevreuil. It is now in ruins but its fleet of 200 hectar is he always maintained.
