Notes: Château de Pechrodil is located in the municipality of Varen, Tarn-et-Garonne. The twelfth century to the early nineteenth century, at least, the lordship of Pech-Rodil was continuously the seat of the Gros family Perrodil, descendant of Saint-Antoninois knights. Mentioned since the earliest times as a castle, the fortified home of the Lords of Pechrodil was well endowed with defense structures, towers, enclosures, high and low current, moat, drawbridge, that adjustments had transformed from the early seventeenth century in the taste of the time in an elegant family home. From the ancient remains some vestiges remain.
