Notes: Château de Larroque-Toirac is located in the municipality of Larroque-Toirac between Figeac and Cajarc. It is perched on the side of a high cliff overlooking the village and the Lot valley in an exceptional defense. The cliff behind the castle has very ancient caves that served as cave dwelling.Castle of Larroque-Toirac was built between the twelfth century and the fifteenth century, a castrum in the thirteenth century, the strengthening of the enclosure in the fourteenth century and the new castle in the fifteenth century. He was taken by the English several times. The castle entered the Wagner-Autesserre family in 1923. Previously, he was used by the municipality of Larroque-Toirac as municipal school or as housing for teachers. In 1946, the castle is on the supplementary list of historical monuments before being a historical monument in 1995.
