Notes: Château du Monteil is located in the town of Monteil-au-Vicomte in the department of Creuse. Pierre d'Aubusson, grand master of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem, was born in 1423. In the seventeenth century, it belonged to Gaspard de Fieubet. He passed in 1714 to Denis Michel de Montboissier Beaufort Canillac, who sold it to Jacques-André Dupille in 1719 that ceded itself to Louis François Pouget Nadaillac. The monument is the subject of a registration as a historic monument since February 19, 1964.
