Notes: Château de Valmate sometimes called Walmath Castle is a castle located in the municipality of Saint-Laurent-les-Eglises, in Haute-Vienne, at the foot of the Ambazac mountains. This monument is the subject of a partial registration as a historic monument since December 19, 1996.Completely looted in 1993, the castle has since become subject of a restoration in depth.
