Notes: Château de Montméry is a castle located in Ambazac, France.The castle was built in 1885 for Theodore Haviland (Haviland), industrial porcelain in Limoges. It is attributed to the American architect Richard Morris Hunt, who designed many buildings for billionaires and the pedestal of the Statue of Liberté.Le park was designed five years later in 1889-1890 by American landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted. This park has more than a hundred species of trees and shrubs from around the world some unique in France. Andromèdes Japan, oaks, silver lime, ... adorn this beautiful park where Runs Through an English river all beauté.Le castle is classified as historical monuments April 19, 1991 amended by Decree of 31 March 1995. The facades and roofs of the entrance pavilion, as well as the basement, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of the castle are registered on the same date.Part of Providence film by Alain Resnais (7 César Award), and Lady Chatterley 5 awards in 2007, was shot in the castle.
