It is located in the town of Capestang, in the French department of Herault and Languedoc-Roussillon, Midi-Pyrenees.The entire castle with soil, buildings and the remains inside its enclosure (K 1198 in cadastre) is the subject of a classification as historical monuments since September 29, 1995.
