Notes: Château de Saissac is a castle in the network "Aude Cathar country", in the commune of Saissac in the Aude department in the northwest of Carcassonne. It was the residence of a powerful vassal family of Trencavel, the Saissac.
It is the subject of a registration as a historic monument since February 17, 1926.
