Notes: Château d'Allègre is a castle located in the town of Allegre-les-Fumades in the Gard department.The first mention of the castrum of Alegrio date in 1163 when Bernard Ferreyroles paid tribute to Bernard Pelet, Baron d'Ales. In 1211, a Philippe Auguste parchment indicates that the castrum Allegrio diocesis Uticensis belongs to several noble families share the field Allegre under the suzerainty of the bishop of Uzes.In 1313, Guillaume de Randon, lord overlooking the castrum, receives the homage of eight coseigneurs: Jaussin Naves, Pierre Jourdan, Pierre Bérard Guilhem, Raymond Guilhefred, Guerin and Raymond Allegre, Raymond and Bernard Cadoine del Puech. The monument is the subject of a registration as a historic monument since July 25, 1997.
