Notes: Château de Villiers is a French palace in the French town of Cerny, the former province of Gâtinais, today the department of Essonne and the region Île-de-France, forty-one kilometers south of Paris.The Chateau de Villiers, one of the oldest in the former Seine-et-Oise, since first trace exists in 1006. Its name was once Villiers-le-Châtel. It is the birthplace of the lordship of Cerny.
