Notes: Château de Villemomble is a castle built in the eighteenth century located in the city of Villemomble, located in the Seine-Saint-Denis department and the Île-de-France region. The castle was built in 1769 by Louis-Philippe d'Orleans (1725-1785), on the plans of architects and Brongniart Poor Henry, for his mistress Miss Marquis, future Madame de Villemomble, Villemomble landowner, and Avron Noisy-le-Sec from 1767 on the site of a former renaissance castle built by Florimond Robertet secretary Francis. From 1800 to 1875, the castle and its lands were owned by various citizens of Paris: Nicolas Bourelle Sivry (1800-1807), Rodolphe Emmanuel Haller (1807-1818), Jean-Charles Ragoulleau (1818-1823), Achille Martin Flube (1823 - 1825), Francois Charles Gabriel Joseph Lewall (1825 - 1831), Louis Carette (1831 - 1836), Antoine Martin Flacourt (1836 - 1837), Denis François Papin (1837 - 1874), Louis-Philippe Orléans, King of the French, the owner of a portion of Villemomble Park (Parc Carette) (1836 - 1850)], Aglaé Julie Papin - Constantine Louis Detouche in society (1875). Used for almost a century (1887 - 1980) as mayor of the city, it was restored in 2003 under the auspices of the Friends of the stately Villemomble and villemomblois heritage (which aims to safeguard Heritage) and now hosts exhibitions and cultural associations activities.
