Notes: Château d'Étobon was a fortress built on a hill overlooking the village of Étobon, in the French department of Haute-Saône, 6 km from the town of Héricourt. The castle was strong by position and by the very considerable work that had been done. It was located 167 m above the village and measured 220 m in its greatest length and 60 m wide. The twenty-first century, there are only a few traces of this ancient castle.
