Notes: Château d'École (also known as Castle of the Holy Spirit) is a castle of the sixteenth century, protected historical monuments, located in the village of Ecole-Valentin, in the French department of Doubs.The castle was built between 1557 and 1559 by the Commander of the Order of the Holy Ghost. He served as ceremonial palace, place of chapter and managing the many farms hospitals under its dependence on school land and Valentine among others. The castle is the subject of a registration as a historic monument since December 31, 1980.
