Notes: Maison forte de la Raminoise is a strong house in the countryside, in the territory of the town of Maisoncelle-et-Villers, France.The building is a massive but little has beautiful rooms. It was enlarged in the sixteenth century by two wings, but the original project appears not to have been completed. The whole was surrounded by living waters, and access was via a drawbridge.
This strong house was looted in 1622 by the troops of Ernst von Mansfeld, then burned down in 1650 by the Croates ..
Before the Revolution, the manor was owned successively by the Stem, the Villelongue (senior branch), the Galopin, the Lhostel the Mecquenem and Wacquant.
