Notes: Château du Plaix is a castle located in the commune of Saint-Hilaire-en-Lignières in the Cher department in France. It is on the edge of the Arnon River.Around 1220, the stronghold of Plaix privilege is given to the Captain of the land of Lignières en Berry. The fifteenth century to the seventeenth century, the Plaix belongs to a cadet branch of the family of La Châtre and the Tailhandier family of the eighteenth century to the Révolution1. In 1961, Berthier-Goin family donated the castle to the folk group of Thiaulins Lignières, founded in 1946 by Roger Perron. It now houses a museum of arts and rural traditions.
