Notes: Château de Villesavin is a castle located in France in the town of Tour-en-Sologne, in Loir-et-Cher department in central France, Loire Valley.
It is more precisely 17 km from Blois, Chambord 9 km and 6 km from Cheverny.
It is also the subject of a registration as a historic monument since October 5, 1928, and two rankings since March 7, 1952 and July 10, 1959.It was built between 1527 and 1537 by Jean le Breton, lord of Villandry and secretary of the King Francis I Finance, charged by one of the driving and payments of the important work of Chambord.
In the seventeenth century, Jean Phélippeaux are done perform multiple jobs.It is inspired by the villas of the Italian Renaissance and facades refer to the Chateau de Chambord. The main building has only one floor. The round towers that were found previously are replaced by symmetrical square pavilions. We can observe the traditional skylights of the Loire Valley. The main staircase is located within the central body.
At the entrance to the courtyard are built two houses, one of which houses the chapel.
It was registered October 5, 1928 and the listed building March 7, 1952 and July 10, 1959.
