Notes: The Chateau du Clos de Vougeot and Vougeot Clos du Chateau is a famous Renaissance castle of the Burgundy vineyard that stands in the middle of the closed-Vougeot Vougeot, near Route des Grands Crus linking Dijon and Beaune in Côte-d 'Or in Burgundy. The castle is classified as a historical monument since 1949 and opened to visitors for its wine museum. It is a center of promotion of traditional Burgundian cuisine and wines of Burgundy by the Brotherhood of Knights of Tastevin. Le clos Vougeot has prestigious neighbors the great wines Musigny, the Echezeaux, Romanee-Conti or the Chambertin. The rectangular main building is one floor and attic floor, the roof is ornamented dormers Renaissance. The main building is flanked by two pavilions of two very simple stories. Each month, the Brotherhood of Knights of Tastevin Knights inducted several new members after a great chapter grand ritual of high gastronomy 500 guests invited by invitation only. The most important chapter is the sale of the famous Hospices de Beaune (Hospices de Beaune).
