Location: Mâcon, in the Saône-et-Loire departement of France (Bourgogne Region).
Built: 14th century.
Condition: Ruins.

Notes: Château des Perrières is located in the town of Macon in Saône-et-Loire, on a hill overlooking the city and the Saône Valley. The castle was probably expanded in the late eighteenth century from a large rectangular central building whose southern facade, 34 meters long, is flanked by two square towers with roofs pavilion, a higher level lit by oculus, and which rely on a floor pavilions forming right angles wings on the side facades. The south façade is crowned by a large pediment above the gable roof which he conceals the sprocket. A square tower stands in the center of the north side, a wing extends eastward.
Under the building lies a cellar of about 400 square meters with groin vaults fall back on square piles.
The castle is privately owned and not open to visitors.
For several years it served as the school canteen grouping located in the neighboring park Perrières, and also hosts the activities of associations for the elderly.
