Notes: Château de Lavernette is located in Saône-et-Loire, on the border of the Mâconnais and Beaujolais.The domain Lavernette first belongs to the monks of the Abbey of Saint-Philibert Tournus, before the establishment of the lordship of Lavernette in 1596. The castle acquires winemaking equipment winery, press, etc.
In 1988, the grape comes to the cellar of the castle, after having long been received to the cooperative cellar.
Starting in 2005, the estate produces wines from grapes grown in agriculture biologique1. He is fully converted to organic farming since 2007 and produces Beaujolais blanc, Pouilly-Fuissé, Beaujolais-Villages and Beaujolais-Leynes Crémant de Bourgogne.
Since 2000, the vineyards of Château de Lavernette are operated by the twelfth and thirteenth generations of winemakers. The estate covers an area of 11.77 ha.
