Notes: Château de Digoine is located in the town of Palinges, in Saône-et-Loire, on a slight hill overlooking the left bank of the Bourbince. After a first protection order in 1971, the castle is now the subject of two separate protections. The northwest corner flag, facades and roofs of the outbuildings and west, including in the past the scene in the chapel is subject to registration under the Historic Monuments since 1 December 1986. This protection is complemented by the following: the castle itself and the theater in the house of the manager, the south terrace, the two corner towers and the moat, the bridge, the main gate of wrought iron and its main access avenue, the gate of the avenue leading to the channel, and finally the vegetable garden and flowers below the terrace, with the greenhouse of the nineteenth century, the park and the North Pond subject a classification as historical monuments since July 5, 1993.
