Notes: The Château de Chasselas is located in the town of Chasselas Saône-et-Loire, slope side. It revolves around a large courtyard flanked by three towers in pepper covered with glazed tiles. This 12 hectare vineyard has a tasting room open all year. The buildings surrounding an open rectangular court in the north by a narrow passage created between common. The main building, east, dates from the sixteenth century. A circular tower stands nearby on the corner of the kitchen garden. A second tower flanks the northwestern corner. It is connected to a third tower by constructions for agricultural use. The main building, which dates from the late eighteenth century, is located in the south. It comprises a central body between two flanges at right angles.
The castle belongs to the Agricultural Society of Civil Chasselas. It is the subject of a registration as a historic monument since July 5, 1979.
