Notes: Château de Besseuil is located in the municipality of Clessé in Saône-et-Loire, north of the village, sloping flank. Castle Besseuil is preceded to the west of a courtyard surrounded by outbuildings, which provides access to a carriage door without couvrement provided with a beautiful grid, the castle consists of a rectangular main building under a roof ridges hollow tiles. It is flanked on both ends of the same height pavilions. At the center of the facade is a tower staircase. On the ground floor, in a large hall covered with a beamed ceiling to the French, is a leaning chimney whose abutments scroll decorated with stylized floral motifs, carry a bulging entablature on which is engraved the date 1657, which also appears in the cartridge that occupies the center of the right hood that overcomes. In the park, east of the castle is a chapel of the seventeenth century. The castle is now a 4-star hotel with its gourmet restaurant. AOC Chardonnay vineyard of 4 hectares.
