Notes: The Château de Beaurepaire is located in the municipality of Beaurepaire-en-Bresse in Saône-et-Loire. The castle is in the form of a long, rectangular body home. A stone bridge gives access to a passage housed in a pavilion. At the southwest corner, a large pavilion perhaps corresponds to the tower of the stronghold. Enclosed by walls, the spacious park has been transformed into pastures. The castle, as it stands today, was built on the cellars of a medieval fortress. It is surrounded by moats and is accessed via a fixed bridge. The castle, private property can not be visited. It is the subject of a registration as a historic monument since 3 October 19972. This registration concerns the castle and its dependencies, ditches and bridge-sleeping and the small chapel decorated with plasterwork and paneling and carved moldings.
