Notes: Château du Tourps is an ancient castle, which was founded about 1050 under William the Conqueror, rebuilt after 1346, center of the Lordship of Tourps, which stands on the town of Anneville-en-Saire in Cotentin, in the department of Manche Basse-Normandie region. The facades and roofs of the castle and the living room and adjoining bedroom with their decorations, and the staircase; facades and roofs of all buildings (former Manable house, outbuildings, wine press, chapel, garden pavilion); the garden and its enclosing walls are the subject of a registration as a historic monument by decree of August 25, 2005.
