Notes: Château de Versainville is in Calvados (Basse-Normandie), near Falaise, about thirty kilometers from Caen. The castle, registered since 1930, been the subject of a classification as historical monuments since June 2008. In 1947, the castle was acquired by the Ford Motor Company to make it a summer camp for children of staff. The castle will welcome many children until the late 1990s.
In 2002, the PSA Peugeot Citroën Group, owner of the castle then resells it to Jacques de La Rochefoucauld, nephew of Bernard. Castle Versainville consists of a main building with nine bays with corner flag, complemented by a west wing in 1912. The park of the castle with its avenue and pond enrolled in pre-inventory of remarkable gardens.
