Notes: Château de la Boulaye or Boullaye is a former feudal castle rebuilt the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
During the Battle of Normandy, it houses the headquarters of the 2nd US Infantry Division. General Eisenhower and Omar Bradley will come to cheer American soldiers.
