Notes: Château de Falaise lies on a rocky outcrop to the southwest of the city of Falaise in Normandy (Basse-Normandie). This castle is the subject of a classification as historical monuments by the list of 1840. In recent years, the enclosure castrale Cliff Castle was restored in order to make the castle its defensive aspect.
Since April 2013, the castle has a new scenography, focusing in particular on new technologies. Visitors can tour the castle, as it was probably in the twelfth century, thanks to a touch tablet computer called HistoPad. Just turn on itself, so that the medieval architecture overlays the current. The castle is also equipped with HistoCams, stereoscopic glasses to discover, at the same angle, a relief representation of the lower courtyard.
