Notes: Château de Montmorin is an ancient castle of the twelfth century, rebuilt later, the ruins stand in the town of Montmorin in the Puy-de-Dôme, in the Auvergne region. Castle (set of ruins) is the subject of a classification as historical monuments by order of 31 December 1985. The castle was the birthplace of the family of Montmorin, one of the most powerful families in the Auvergne nobility.
