Notes: Château de Cropières is a pleasure palace, located in the town of Raulhac, Cantal department (France), which is native Marie-Angélique, Duchess of Fontanges (1661-1681), mistress of Louis XIV. An association (A.S.C.: Association for the Preservation of Castle Cropières) was created to raise funds for the necessary repairs. At first it is necessary to stop the degradation of the mine and consolidate what can be, in a second stage, it will be restored some harmony and pageantry of old. The castle can not be visited.
