Notes: Château d'Avrilly is a castle located in Trevol, France. Château d'Avrilly is located in the town of Trévol, in the French department of Allier. The building is registered as historical monuments in 1999.
East facade dates from that time, strengthened at each corner by a watchtower, surrounded by a keep wearing a height quite high and topped with battlements lintels resting on three pillars quarter round. Each is decorated lintels of the ogee arch, characteristic of the fifteenth. The north tower, also the fifteenth, has two buttresses between which housed a drawbridge. Each buttress is topped with a steeple and a recess for receiving a statue. Below, a badge hints of arms remains. The ground floor of this tower is arched ribs: once one reached the upper floors through a spiral staircase. The west facade was demolished in the nineteenth, was similar to that of East and included an internal courtyard.
