Notes: The manor of Pautis, or castle of Pautis, is a French seigneurial lodging located on the town of Sorges in the department of Dordogne, in Aquitaine-Limousin-Poitou-Charentes region.In December 1654, the manor was attacked by a troop of a hundred men of Marc-Antoine de Coutures, known as Couturas, co-lord of Sorges. The latter abandons the battle after having been fired from the fortifications. A new attempt in May 1655 will result in the same way.
