It is the subject of a registration as a historic monument since June 16, 2000. Pichon castle was built in 1881 by architect Louis-Michel Garros in lieu of a fourteenth-century castle burned. It adopts a neo-Renaissance style. It combines elements from different eras inspired chateaux of the Loire.
