Notes: Château de Frespech is located in Frespech in the department of Lot-et-Garonne. The castrum Fessopodio mentioned when saisimentum of 1279. It remains of the castle and town walls of some remains that can be contemporaries of that act. About 1848 the village mayor, who wanted a beautiful staircase at home, tore down the stone staircase that was located in the dungeon. This dismantling led to the fall of the "dome of the castle which stood in the middle of the building."
The castle was registered as historical monuments June 9, 1925.
