Notes: Château de Bachen is located in the town of duhort-bachen, in the French department of the Landes. It is a listed building by order of 5 July 1994. The castle Bachen entirely rebuilt in the second half of the eighteenth century noble house is kind of Chalosse. Former seat of a barony, it is established on a plateau overlooking the Adour, on the site of a former castral site.
The set consists of a mansion high roofing, resembling a béarnaise house, and a low wing joint. On the outskirts are a cellar and an old traditional, local agricultural dependency. It is at the center of a vineyard of AOC Tursan.
In 1991 the winery was redesigned by architect Jean de Gastines.
