Location: Solutré-Pouilly, in the Saône-et-Loire departement of France (Bourgogne Region).
Built: First mention in 10th century.

Notes: Château de Pouilly is located in the village of Solutré-Pouilly in Saône-et-Loire, on the slope of hill, surrounded by vineyards, overlooking the village and a vast landscape.Beyond a doorway basket handle, accosted a pedestrian gate semicircular clearly lifts the nineteenth century, the manor is in the shape of a large square pavilion under a tiled roof broken flat, flanked, in the same alignment, with two low wings covered with hipped roofs with hollow tiles. A half-round work out circular staircase occupies the center of the south facade. It is defended by gunboats and still has a gatehouse consoles. Two other circular towers flank the north side. In the apparatus of alternating large and small stones. To the right of the tower staircase, the windows are shared by a spider. Corbels of a uniform type cornices reign at the base of all the roofs. All must date from the late fifteenth century.
The castle, private property can not be visited.
